I am moved by the ephemeral, the mysterious, the transcendent, the evocative; and believe that a good photograph suggests a story to the viewer but an exceptional photograph conjures memories, ideas and emotions. I am especially inspired by the natural world in its often abstract or surreal beauty and am interested in the juxtaposition of idea and image. I have worked in fine art photography since 2009. My work has been exhibited in individual shows in the Seattle area and Walnut Creek, California, and has been juried into exhibits at Darkroom Gallery.
